No Sleep Records
No Sleep Records is an independent record label that was founded in the Summer of 2006 by Chris Hansen with the purpose to bring back the originality and uniqueness that was long missing from today's ever changing music scene. Originally started while Southern Californian transplant Chris Hansen was working as the art director for a larger independent label on the East Coast (New Jersey), No Sleep was eventually moved back out West to Huntington Beach, CA.
Through No Sleep Records ever growing catalog of releases (almost 50 to date) from it's majorly diverse roster (Pop Punk, Hip Hop, Emo, Screamo, Hardcore, Indie and so on) of bands, the label hopes to show the world that no matter what genre of music you listen to, there is still quality music waiting to be heard. Only time will tell what the future holds for the up and coming West Coast independent record label, but if the past/present is a sign of things to come, as Larry David would say, things are looking pretty pretty good.

Demo Submissions
Please feel free to send in your demos at anytime. We will try and listen to it right away, and if we like it we will try and get back to you. But if we dont like it, well sorry but you will be added to the Hall Of Douches (aka trash bin and some trash talking maybe). Here are some more guidelines for you to follow...
1. Please send CD's and Vinyl only, obviously CD's would be better (NO CASSETTE TAPES!).
2. Include some kind of information on your band as well as contact info (Please include it on the CD itself as well as on your letter).
3. Please make it look nice whatever you send in, uglyness is not a good thing and won't draw our attention. So make the package and everything look professional!
4. If you send in a promo pic, please don't look like a bunch of douches, you'd be better off sending in a picture of someone out of a magazine if thats the case.
5. DO NOT EMAIL US MP3's OR URLS TO SONGS! Thats a sign of laziness, and that won't get you anywhere. If you can't take the time to go to the post office, QUIT!
6. Make sure the CD is well packaged, a broken CD wont really work
7. Do not contact us asking if we received your package, if you haven't heard from us, we don't want you. Sorry!
Lastly when sending in your Demo's mark the package "ATTN: A&R" - Thanks and stay golden.

If we have a release that is coming out or just came out, we might, it all depends on when you want something! Just shoot us a e-mail and give it a shot!
I run a "insert place here" and i am in need of some press items, ie photo, cover art, logo, where can i get this?
You can download almost all of these items from our Media page, feel free to use anything that is up! If using a press photo, and have room for a photo credit, please contact us for the correct credit, thanks! However currently we only have JPG's of our logos in there, so if you need a EPS, just email us!
I want to license some songs from (insert band here) for a (insert project here), how do I do this?
Well you are in luck! We are partnered with Rumblefish for all of your music licensing needs! Check out the available music and get more information here.
I want to set up a show with one of your bands, how can i do that?
Best bet is to contact the bands directly.
I wanted to purchase one of your releases from my local record store, but i did not see it there?
Chances are we have just not had a chance to get in touch with them yet, so do us a favor and tell them to start carrying it! Tell them they can pick it up from RevDistribution.
I would like to interview one of your bands or someone at the label, how can i get this done?
If you would like to interview a band, your best bet is to contact the band directly, but you can always contact us as well - and just shoot us a e-mail to interview NSR!
I would like to pick up some of your releases for my Store/Distro, can i buy direct?
No you can not buy direct, sorry, contact RevDistribution/Redeye, contact info is on our contact page.
I would like to review one of your releases for my magazine/zine/etc - what do i do?
Shoot us a e-mail with any info on what the review is for - if it sounds worth the time, chances are we will be happy to oblige and send you one our releases.
Why is there different genres of artists on your label?
Because all music is good to us, if you can't like more then one thing, then i am sorry but you need to check yourself.
Will you guy's sign my band?
Depends if your good or not, if you work hard or not, etc. Check out our contact page for all demo submissions info. But definitely send in your press kit and demo and we will give it a listen - but remember, if it sucks we will probably talk crap on you.
